AABNER is a Diamond Open Access, forum peer-reviewed journal, run by and for academics. It publishes articles in English, German, and French.

AABNER is an interdisciplinary journal covering antiquity and its reception. It seeks to embody the ethos of the EABS in terms of academic rigor, equal opportunity, and non-discrimination. 

AABNER publishes one or two varia issues per year, with articles being published immediately upon completion of typsetting. In addition, AABNER publishes special thematic issues each year. 

All published issues are archived by the Universitätsbibliotek Tübingen and on the Center for Open Science (OSF.io) servers.
